EU removes visa to Bosnia and Albania and Italy met December 15 From

The decision was greeted with "great satisfaction" by Foreign Minister Franco Frattini, that it is a "very glad news."
Interior Ministers of the EU have today approved a proposal from the Commission to cancel the travel restrictions on holders of biometric passports, those who have a digital photo, during a summit in Brussels.
However, ministers insist that the European Commission will continue to monitor how the two countries will act under the new rules on border control and security of passports, noting a reluctance to open the borders to travel without restrictions.
But today's decision was still greeted with enthusiasm by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"This is a very glad news for which I wish to congratulate the governments and people of Sarajevo and Tirana," he said in a statement Minister Frattini.
"The decision ... is a just reward for the effort and determination put in by these countries to achieve this strategic objective. I wish to extend to citizens of Albania and Bosnia in the welcome 'Europe of free movement of persons. "
